Description
Hot push tee is a process in which special elbow pusher, mandrel and heating equipment are selected to make the blank on the die move forward under the push of the pusher, and then heated, expanded and zigzag formed during the movement. The deformation feature is that the diameter of the tube blank is determined according to the rule that the volume of the metal material remains unchanged before and after plastic deformation. The diameter of the tube blank selected is smaller than the diameter of the elbow. Through the deformation process of the blank controlled by the mandrel, the metal in the inner arc is compressed to compensate for the thinning of other parts due to the expansion, and then the elbow with uniform wall thickness is obtained.

Hot push tee forming process has the characteristics of beautiful appearance, uniform wall thickness and continuous operation, which is suitable for mass production. Therefore, it has become the primary forming method of carbon steel and alloy steel elbow, and has also been applied in the forming of some standard stainless steel elbows. The heating methods of forming process include medium frequency or high frequency induction heating (heating ring can be multi circle or single circle), flame heating and reflection furnace heating. The heating method selected depends on the requirements of forming products and dynamic conditions.
